L010 - The Old Testament Leads to Jesus - Psalm 23: The Good Shepard

Synopsis

Mark picked back up with The Long and Winding Road series highlighting references to Jesus in the Old Testament. This week’s lesson focused on Jesus - the good shepherd in John 10:15. Jesus is making a claim from the Old Testament that He is a good shepherd with the qualifications of a good shepherd. Mark pointed out Old Testament images of bad shepherds who lived only for themselves and contrasted that with the ultimate good shepherd who played down his life for we the sheep. Listen to Mark teach how Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecies of a good shepherd by sacrificing Himself for those who believe in Him.
